Analytical chemistry-chemiometry

The research lines of research developed by the group are:

  • development, optimisation and validation of analytical methods applied to food, environmental and clinical samples (PE4_6);
  • proteomics and medical diagnostics for the identification of biomarkers (LS2_3);
  • characterisation and traceability studies of typical food products (PE4_6);
  • development of spectroscopic methods for cultural heritage (PE4_6);
  • development and application of multivariate chemometric methods also applied to industrial processes (PE4_6);
  • isolation, determination and study of the biological activity of secondary metabolites of plant origin.
