Electronic journals make up the majority of periodicals available and may or may not have a paper version.

List of suppliers

ACS: American Chemical Society

Access to all journals from the American Chemical Society publisher (approximately 30 publications). All the publisher's holdings are available in electronic format since 1996.

BioOne

Access to the BioOne1 and BioOne2 collection, includes journals with high impact factor in the field of biosciences, in particular on the most topical issues, such as global warming, stem cell research, ecology and biodiversity.

CUP

Access to the full text of the Cambridge University Press publisher which includes approximately 300 multidisciplinary journals.

JSTOR - Journal Storage Project

Digital archive of electronic periodicals with the possibility of accessing the full-text of historical series of scientific and academic journals of a retrospective and multidisciplinary nature. The archive can generally be consulted starting from the first editions, many between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. For editorial agreements, the current years and those of the last 3 or 5 years are not available.

Nature Publishing Group

Nature Publishing Group makes available to users a catalogue of scientific journals with particular regard to the biomedical field, organised in different editorial packages. Nature journals include the multidisciplinary weekly Nature.

Royal Society of Chemistry

Access to full-text works of the Royal Society of Chemistry publisher (24 publications). One of the major European scientific societies for the study and dissemination of chemistry and related sciences from the first issue of each periodical. All the publisher's possessions are available in electronic format. The oldest data dates back to 1841.

Science

Science On line is a weekly periodical and contains the full text of Science articles and supplementary materials not available in the print edition. Full text access has been available since 1997 to the current issue.

ScienceDirect - Elsevier

Contains full-text access to Elsevier's scientific, technical and medical journals (over 1000 titles) from Academic Press (around 170 titles) and other publishers such as Livingstone, Saunders and Mosby. All the publisher's possessions are available in electronic format.

Springerlink

Full-text access to the publisher's catalogue. There are also titles previously provided by Kluwer.

Wiley Interscience

Online access to all journals of the publisher Wiley (approximately 800 journals), through its own electronic publishing service called Wiley InterScience. There are also titles previously provided by Blackwell Sinergy. All the publisher's possessions are available in electronic format. From August 2020, it will not be possible to access the Early Views, i.e. the contents published before the actual calendar date, and irregularities in access may occur due to the expiry of the contract.
