Digital Loans

The digital loan is restricted to e-books. It allows you to download e-books and consult them offline for a set period of time.

The e-books you can access are available on the Media Library Online (MLOL) platform, the first Italian network of public and academic libraries for digital lending. On the MLOL platform you can also find some course books.

To log in to MLOL you must use your IDEM credentials (the ones you use to log in to email). Select the institution, University of Eastern Piedmont, then click on the IDEM GARR button.

Depending on the device you use for reading, you will be asked to download either the new MLOL Ebook Reader reading app, or to continue with the old reading system via Adobe Reader.

ATTENTION! For the APP, the user name is your university email address, but the password is the MLOL user code that you can find in the details of your account.

If your device does not support MLOL Ebook Reader, you will need to use Adobe reader, here are the instructions:

• create an Adobe ID: go to the website www.adobe.it and click on Login, at the top right
• install Adobe Digital Editions (on PC or Mac) or Blufire Reader  (on IPad, IPhone, IPod)

Adobe ID creation only needs to be done once.

Through the MLOL platform you can get 4 simultaneous loans for 15 days.
