The first edition of the Second-Level Master's Programme in One Health: Agriculture and Environment has been launched by the Department of Science and Technological Innovation of the University of Eastern Piedmont (UPO), in collaboration with the Agrion Foundation (Foundation for Research, Innovation and Technological Development of Piedmont Agriculture), following the EDUNEXT educational model.

The Master's programme provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to analyse, manage and innovate agricultural and environmental systems from a sustainability perspective, with particular attention to soils, water resources, functional biodiversity and the efficient use of natural resources.

The challenges of sustainability and food security require a multidisciplinary approach involving agronomists, biologists, veterinarians, chemists, ecologists and specialists in environmental policy, economics and public health. Climate change, biodiversity loss, zoonotic diseases and ecosystem degradation also call for a transdisciplinary approach integrating agricultural, biological, ecological, legal, social and economic sciences.

  • Programme duration: one academic year
  • Application deadline: applications for admission must be submitted by 12:00 noon on 31 October 2026.
  • Admission ranking list: the list of admitted candidates will be published by 16 November 2026.
